• Relationship Data: Daily check-in responses, mood ratings, and relationship insights
• Voice Recordings: Audio recordings and transcriptions from voice journal entries (optional feature)
• Profile Responses: Answers to onboarding questions about your relationship preferences

Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version
• Usage Data: App features used, frequency of check-ins
• Push Notification Tokens: To send you reminders and notifications

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Just One Olive app experience
• Generate personalized relationship insights and recommendations
• Send you daily check-in reminders (if enabled)
• Sync your data across devices
• Provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

• Encryption: Sensitive data is protected in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest where applicable
• Storage: Backend infrastructure uses Supabase (hosted on AWS)
• Local Storage: Some data is cached locally on your device using encrypted Core Data
• Voice Data: Voice recordings are processed by OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription, then the audio is deleted. Summaries are stored; transcripts may be stored depending on your chosen privacy level.

Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited cases:

• OpenAI: Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. OpenAI's privacy policy applies: https://openai.com/privacy
• Service Providers: We use Supabase for backend infrastructure
• Your Partner: If you pair with a partner, they only see what you explicitly share (for example, a shared check-in, or a voice journal summary/transcript depending on your chosen privacy level)
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data we have about you
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export: Download your data in a portable format
• Opt-Out: Disable notifications, voice journal, or other features
• Unpair: Disconnect from your partner at any time

Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active
• Custom Retention: You can set custom data retention periods (for example 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or indefinite)
• Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days
• Voice Recordings: Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription
